Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-28

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the iGregulator services. By creating an account, provisioning an API key, or otherwise using the service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. Service description

iGregulator (the "Service") provides a REST API, an MCP server, a dashboard at app.igregulator.io, and supporting documentation that surface licensing data scraped from public gambling-regulator registers (UKGC, MGA, CGA, KGC, AGA, and additional regulators added over time). The Service does not host gambling activity, process bets, or facilitate any iGaming operation — it indexes publicly disclosed regulatory data and exposes it programmatically.

2. Data accuracy and use

Data is sourced from each regulator's public register and refreshed daily within 24 hours of upstream changes (see coverage methodology). We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep data accurate but information returned by the Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice, regulatory guidance, or a substitute for direct verification with the issuing regulator.

You are solely responsible for your own compliance, KYB / AML, and merchant-onboarding decisions. Critical regulatory decisions should always be confirmed against the regulator's primary register. We surface the canonical source URL on every license record so you can do exactly that.

Status changes detected by our scrapers may lag behind regulator announcements by up to 48 hours depending on jurisdiction (see the per-jurisdiction SLA at /v1/health/coverage).

3. Account responsibilities

  • You must keep your account credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • API keys are issued per-account; sharing keys across organisations or reselling raw access is prohibited.
  • You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect a key has been compromised. Compromised keys are revoked at our discretion.
  • Each account is single-tenant. If you operate multiple businesses, each one needs its own account and subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, mirror, or re-publish bulk Service data outside what your subscription tier permits;
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label raw API responses without a written agreement;
  • Circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or authentication mechanisms;
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or unlawfully target any operator or licensee;
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law (including AML and sanctions regimes) or any regulator's terms governing the underlying public register;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Service source code beyond what's permitted by applicable law and our published open-source components.

5. Subscription, billing, cancellation

During pre-launch, the Starter plan is free for founding members — no card, no time limit — with full Starter access. Paid tiers (Pro, Business, Enterprise) and self-serve billing via Stripe activate in a later phase. Legacy trial keys, if issued, remain restricted to the /v1/check endpoint with a 1,000 calls / day cap.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and disables API access at the renewal date. We do not pro-rate mid-period refunds for monthly plans except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.

Annual plans, when offered, may include a discount and a corresponding minimum-term commitment; specific cancellation terms for annual plans will be specified at point of sale.

6. Intellectual property

The Service software, schemas, and documentation are owned by iGregulator. The underlying licensing data is sourced from public regulator registers and remains subject to the terms of each regulator's primary publication.

You retain ownership of any data you submit (e.g. webhook endpoint URLs, watchlist configurations). By submitting data you grant us a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of operating the Service on your behalf.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, regulatory fines, or business interruption.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, prolonged non-payment, or where required by law, with reasonable notice except where such notice is impractical (e.g. immediate security risk). Termination does not entitle you to a refund of pre-paid fees beyond what's required by applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced via the changelog and, for active subscribers, by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the founder's place of registered self-employment (autónomo), except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
